This policy explains how rescheduling, cancellations and refunds work for pujas, homas, puja samagri kits, online pujas and subscriptions booked with Gopuja Vedic Private Limited (“Gopuja”, “we”). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. We confirm the price and these terms on WhatsApp before you pay anything.

2. Rescheduling a puja
You can move your puja to another date or time at no charge if you tell us at least 24 hours before the booked start time. Any advance you have paid is carried over to the new date.
New dates are subject to pandit availability. Festival days and peak muhurat windows (for example Navratri, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi and wedding season) book out early, so we may not always be able to offer the exact slot you want.
3. Cancellation by you
To cancel, message us on WhatsApp or call the number below. The time we receive your message is the cancellation time.
- 48 hours or more before the puja: no cancellation fee. Any advance or booking deposit is refunded in full.
- Less than 48 hours before the puja: by this point the samagri kit is usually bought and packed. We refund your advance after deducting the actual cost of the samagri. If the kit has been delivered to you, you keep it.
- After the pandit has set out, or if the pandit cannot get access to the venue:we deduct the samagri cost and the pandit's travel charge and refund the rest.
For large homas, weddings and multi-day rituals where a 10–20% booking deposit was taken, the same time limits apply to that deposit.
4. Cancellation by Gopuja
If we cannot provide a pandit for your booking because of illness, an emergency or anything else on our side, we will tell you as soon as we know. You can choose a replacement pandit of the same tradition, a new date, or a full refund of everything you have paid.
5. Puja samagri kits
- If an item is missing, damaged or wrong, tell us within 24 hours of delivery (a photo on WhatsApp helps). We will replace the item or refund its value.
- Flowers, fruits, leaves, milk products and other perishables cannot be returned.
- Kits that have been opened or used cannot be returned, except for the missing or damaged items above.
- You can cancel a standalone kit order for a full refund before it is dispatched.
6. Online and e-puja services
For pujas performed on your behalf and streamed or recorded (including for NRI families), you can cancel or reschedule on the same terms as above. Once the sankalpa has been taken in your name and the ritual has started, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. If a live stream fails for technical reasons on our side, we will share a recording and photographs of the ritual.
7. Nitya puja subscriptions
Subscriptions have no lock-in. You can pause, change the frequency or cancel at any time on WhatsApp. A cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle; pujas already performed in the current cycle are not refunded.
8. When a refund is not possible
We cannot offer a refund once a puja has been performed as booked. This includes cases where:
- you are unhappy with a result you hoped the ritual would bring, rituals are performed according to Vedic tradition, and outcomes are a matter of faith, not a guarantee;
- you asked for a change to the ritual during the puja and the pandit made it;
- the puja started late because of a delay on your side.
If something went wrong with the service itself, the pandit arrived very late, left early, or the samagri was incomplete, please tell us within 48 hours and we will look into it and make it right.
9. How and when refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer or card) within 5–7 working days. Cash payments are refunded by UPI or bank transfer to an account you name. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the credit.
Pandit dakshina offered voluntarily over and above the quoted price goes directly to the pandit and is not refundable by Gopuja Vedic Private Limited.
