In the heart of HSR Layout, Shri Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple is a living sanctuary of devotion — where the name of Shri Ram echoes and Lord Hanuman is worshipped with unwavering faith. Veeranjaneya embodies strength, surrender, and selfless service; worshipping Him grants courage in adversity, protection from negativity, and steady bhakti through every storm of life.
More than a place of darshan, it is a warm, family-friendly center for spiritual growth. Weekly satsangs, Ram Naam Jaap, Hanuman Chalisa, soulful bhajans, and Bhagavad Gita learning bring neighbours together as one family — elders, youth, and children alike. Every Saturday and Tuesday evening the temple comes alive with chanting and music, an open invitation to every devotee to participate, serve, sing, and grow.

Weekly Bhagavad Gita learning sessions are conducted for children, youth, and adults — making the wisdom of Lord Krishna accessible to every generation. Learners progress shloka by shloka, understanding not just the words but how to live them.

Every quarter — once every three months — our Gita Abhyasam culminates in a joyful chapter-wise recitation competition (Geeta Spardha). Devotees of all ages memorize and recite the chapter being studied that quarter, and the finest reciters are honoured before Lord Hanuman.
How It Works
- ◆Each quarter focuses on one chapter — the chapter currently being studied.
- ◆Participants recite the shlokas of that chapter from memory.
- ◆Judged on pronunciation, fluency, memory, meaning & devotion (bhava).
Age Categories
- 🧒Bala Varga — children up to 12 yrs
- 🧑Yuva Varga — youth 13–25 yrs
- 👤Praudha Varga — adults 26 yrs & above
Rewards & Honours
- 🏆Winners in each category receive a special token of the moment (memento) & certificate of honour.
- 🌸Every participant receives prasad & a certificate of participation.
- 🙏Special blessings from the temple priest before Lord Hanuman.
How to Participate
Learn the chapter at our free weekly Saturday Gita Abhyasam, then register for the quarter's competition. It is open to everyone — first-time reciters are warmly encouraged. There is no entry fee; come with devotion in your heart.
