About Satyanarayana Puja
The Satyanarayana Puja is one of the most beloved and widely performed pujas in Hindu households. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Satyanarayana (the true lord of the universe), this puja is performed to seek his blessings for prosperity, family happiness, and fulfillment of sincere prayers. It is customarily performed on full moon days (Poornima), Ekadashi, or on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or completion of significant events.
When to Perform
On Poornima (full moon), Ekadashi, birthdays, anniversaries, completion of a vow (Udyapana), after recovery from illness, housewarming, or any celebration of good fortune. Also performed monthly by devout families.
