Sarpa Samskara Puja is the most elaborate serpent-propitiation ritual in the Vedic tradition, performed when an individual or family lineage has severe Sarpa Dosha, Kalasarpa Dosha (all planets between Rahu and Ketu), or ancestral karma involving snake-killing (Sarpa Hatya).
